Week in Pictures - 5th Edition - Sept 28, 2008 - October 4, 2008
Join my lonely meme and create a running, photo diary of your week.
I am trying to create a legacy for my children and Photos are the best way. When I look back at my childhood photo albums I wish my mom was around to tell me the details of the photo like:
Where we were going?
What was happening?
How old was I?
Who are those people?
Scrapping is a great way because you get some photos and some journaling, but who has time for that these days?

September 27, 2008 - We headed out to a classmates birthday party. I so didn't want to go because it was raining like crazy and the place was about 45 minutes away. I reminded myself that this wasn't for me it was for the kids so we got in the car. Rode in a monsoon and ran through a parking lot in the rain to enter the party place. I am so glad that we did because my kids had a blast.
September 29, 2008 - Where was my camera????
September 30, 2008 - We headed to my girlfriend's house to visit with my 2 BFF's and their kids. We usually met up at T's house because it is closer than D's. My kids love going there and we hadn't been there since April or May so it was nice to get everyone together again. For more picture head over here.
October 1, 2008 - I took my daughter to the pet store after we went to the bank. She had asked and I said no but than thought, "well, why not?" We stayed for an hour and I had to practically drag myself out of there. She got to play with the 8 ragdoll kittens that run around the store and I got to take tons of pictures so basically we both won.
October 2, 2008 - After dropping the kids off at school I headed to my girlfriend's house for coffee and a chick chat. When I was leaving I had to stop the car to snap a picture of these interesting orange fungi near her street. So cool.
October 3, 2008 - My son's Halloween costume arrived on our doorstep. You have never seen a more excited 5 year old in your life. He was beyond happy. He kept coming over to hug and kiss me for 2 hours after it came. "I am so happy." His sister's comment when he put it on pretty much summed it up "you look AWESOME!!!"
October 4, 2008 - This is not the picture I wanted to post that summed up the day but that picture needs its own post. In this picture my kids were playing "baby." I had never seen or heard them play this but he asked her to sit on his lap and she coo'd the whole time. When I asked what they were doing they both said playing baby.
