Laundry and Handsome

Yes, the weather is getting nicer but for my family this means a lot of allergy trouble. My son's eczema gets out of control between April and June. He is allergic to trees and grass, so as you can imagine things are about to get pretty bad for us as everything blooms.

About two weeks ago, I received from the ECO Store some of their amazingly "clean" products. This has been a Godsend. We have used the laundry detergent, the body wash and the shampoo for the past two weeks and my son's skin looks awesome. There are no rashes, no red spots, no itch. I love the product so much that even I am using it.

In A Nutshell: I love their products. The products are concentrated, so a little goes a long way. The scents are subtle and the product is top of the line. Usually going green means spending more money on a product. In this case, due to the concentration, you are actually saving money. I use 5 cap fulls of the laundry detergent to do a full wash and (3 times so far) and I have used only about 10% of the product.

Bottom Line: My son has severe eczema around this time of year and currently, he is not suffering.

  1. I learned that Ecostore NZ was founded more than 15 years ago by Melanie and Malcolm Rands from their home in an eco village in New Zealand. Thanks for the review and giveaway! I'd love to try the laundry liquid.

  2. I learned that ecostore USA knows that it can be expensive to buy natural or organic products, but we've found a way around this by safely super-concentrating each formulation. This means that a little really does go a long, long way. The result is saving money by significantly cutting down on cost per use. amsbolda@hotmail.com

  16. I learned that when you hand wash dishes, the warm water opens pores making it easier for chemicals to be absorbed. However their Dishwash Liquid is gentle and can help reduce the chemicals in your kitchen.

Ecostore Dishwash Liquid does not contain toxic petrochemicals, phosphates, nitrates, EDTA (ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid), Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, TEA (triethanolamine), synthetic dyes or perfumes, which are found in standard washing products and can poison the rivers which we have all heard about lately.

  30. I learned that For instance, in 2007, a team of French scientists published research demonstrating that the two most common childhood cancers – leukemia and lymphoma – are overwhelmingly correlated to prenatal exposure to toxic chemicals used inside the home. The increase in cases of these haematopoietic malignancies (or “blood cancers”) over the past three decades calls into question the wisdom of producing or purchasing synthetic chemicals as cleaning agents in the home.
