Shutterday has a theme every Saturday. This week: Nostalgia - Show us pictures of when life was as good as it was ever going to get, or something that reminds you of that. Remind US.
For me, Nostalgia could be so many things in my life but the one that changed me and made me what I am today is this one. This is the first photo ever taken of me as a mother. Can't see me? It doesn't really matter. This is my son's very first photo if you leave out the hospital photographers. At the time I called him "my prince".
I never felt complete until my children were born. This is the beginning of life for me. Everything before this moment, paled in comparison. This is LOVE.
What a sweet picture! :)

ReplyDeleteHow adorable he was--so he's had a head full of dark hair since day one!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean--I felt like something was missing in my heart until I had my daughter.
What a beautiful photo, he has a great head of hair and those big brown eyes! I know just what you mean about feeling complete when you hold your first little one in your arms.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such a precious moment with us -- true love!
