Ok, so it isn't too far back but back in August 6, 2006 my baby girl was almost 1.5 years old. Yes, I know she looks about the size of a 9 month old but I rest assure you, the pixie was older.
In this shot she is eating cheese doodles which is something I would have never let my first born do at such a young age. This was a different kid. She was sharing the bag with her daddy. One for you, one for me kind of thing. I thought it was so cute and had to grab the shot.
I LOVE how you added that you wouldn't have let the first born eat cheese doodles!! Is it not hysterical that as we have more kids, the less "strict" you become about those things? I sterilized EVERYTHING for baby #1. By baby #3 they were lucky if I did more than rinse things off with water before I gave it to them!
ReplyDeleteThat picture is adorable - the look on her face is priceless!
Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
OMG she is too cute. I would have thought she was 10 or 11 months. Cute picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute picture! I don't think I was feeding my first cheese doodles at that age either, but my second, now that is a different story!!
ReplyDeleteKari, It's so true. I used to sterilize everything for the first one. I made all his food. He never ate jar food. Most weekends were spent boiling and straining. My daughter never got that.
ReplyDeleteI think her face was stuffed with a cheese doodle but she looks very happy.
Thanks for checking me out.
Fredamans, Well, thanks for checking me out.
Clary, She was so damn cute. God made her cute you know. That baby cried 18 hours a day. I was on 3-5 broken hours of sleep a night. There was a reason she got hit with the cute stick.
LT, See, so glad to hear you guys aren't judging. Thanks for the second time parent support. 1st timers would never get it.
Lol--she is adorable--I get that same expression on my face when I eat cheese doodles :) I started out strict and all tense-mommy with my daughter, but she's three and a half now and I'm like, "Sure you can have that entire chocolate Santa as long as you don't make a mess with it!" We live and learn that some things are just not worth fighting about, don't we?!
ReplyDeleteI love the face on Goddess... she has always had those gorgeous facial expressions! She is so sweet to share with her daddy.
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean, just like the other mommies, about how easy going we become with our subsequent children... when they drop something on the floor, we wipe it on our shirt, look at it, saying: "God made dirt, dirt don't hurt!"
