Happy Homemaker Monday

The weather in my neck of the woods: Sunny and cold, just like I like it!

One of my simple pleasures: Just sitting with my kids watching a movie. I love it. Reminds me of the times when I was a little girl and my family would gather in the living room with our sleeping bags for a Disney movie.

On my bedside table: Well, there is only one in the bedroom and it is on my husband's side but filled with my stuff. Books (3 piles to be exact), a picture of me and my two oldest girlfriends and a baby picture of my son.

On my TV:  A Dr. Seuss DVD that my daughter begged for today.

On the menu for tonight: Quick meals for the kids. The husband is working late and I usually don't bother with dinner these days.

On My To Do List: Review, reviews, reviews and responding to my commenters, I am 101 comments behind.

New Recipe I tried last week: Umm...ahhhh...I don't recall.

In the craft basket: So many unfinished crafts!

Looking forward to: Clearing up at least 3 reviews that I have been sitting on. Lost tomorrow night and bed time.

Homemaking Tip for this week: Have your husband, declutter the kitchen. He has less of a tie to most things in there and will toss things you would never have but haven't touched in over 5 years.

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other): Oh this is hard. I have nothing!

Favorite photo from last week:
Picture 802

Lesson learned the past few days: Sometimes you have to just throw your hands up and go with life!

On my Prayer List: Friends and family.
