1. The temperature in Mooseheadville, Canada was 34 below. Most of the U.S. is in a serious heat wave. In Connecticut, it was 92 degrees in the shade. What do YOU do to beat the heat? If you really know me, you know that I ABSOLUTELY hate the heat. My body doesn't have a natural cooling system (I don't sweat) which means I am prone to heatstroke. I stay indoors but if I have to be out, you will find me in the water or wetting myself with a hose.
2. What is your favorite summertime song? I don't have a favorite but I do love The Boys Of Summer in September. LOVE IT! When the song starts I actually mellow just a little bit more than usual.
3. Besides nude beaches what's your favorite outdoor summer activity? Watching my kids and husband play at the beach.
4. I'm inviting everyone to a cook-out with Kimber and Berleen. What should I cook for you? Steak! Rare please.
5. When selecting your swimwear do you go for sexy or practical? Something that fits
6. Back in the day, did you ever have a summer fling? If yes, do tell. (Names not required.) No summer flings that I can remember.
7. Do you know anyone who hates air conditioning? If yes, what is their reasoning? Yes! The heat doesn't bother them. I just think they are crazy.
8. When and with who was your last skinny dip? I don't remember but I think it is time to go again.
9. How sick of LeBron James are you? Who the hell is LeBron James?
10. When you were a kid, what was your best summer? I think they all rocked. My sisters and I were on our own all summer just riding bikes, swimming in the streams and hanging with our friends at the farms.
11. Belly up to the bar. We serve ANYTHING. It's 100 degrees. What should we pour for you? Water!!!!!!
12. Is there a favorite meal that you like to have in the summer? Something I tastes great would be fine.
13. Do you think they will solve the oil spill in time for the Gulf states to enjoy summer? NOPE!

ReplyDeletePlus when it's hot, you want to drink the same thing that I do, good old H2O... I have been drinking so much water I have been peeing 900 times a day.
I can't imagine how you are handling this heat wave - I've been thinking about you, especially since I know you are sick. Poor thing, I hope you have been able to go to the lake.
