Color Carnival #104

Hello everyone,

I am wondering if anyone wants to take over Color Carnival. Currently, my life since April has been super busy. After my surgery last year and recovery time I started a social media company. I now have four full time clients, Maria's Space and all that goes along with that and a community web page where I am reporter, journalist, photographer, editor, writer, interviewer. and whatever goes along
with running an online "newspaper". Plus, the kids are home from school.

Over the past four weeks I have been thinking how sad the meme has gotten and want to see it bloom again. I have been a terrible host and think it would be better suited in someone else's hands.

  1. If you really want to give it up, I would like to take this idea and make it a *Coloured Sunday*. But may be you will think about and change your mind :). Wish you the best and thanks for hosting!!! LG Tina

Totally understand about your not being able to keep up with everything. I don't know how you do what you do. You are an awesome woman, wife and mother!
I'll try to follow whoever takes over for you, but you know that I've been so busy I haven't even been able to keep up with you.

  4. I hope "Goodies for a pleasant life" would consider calling it Colorful Sunday, as "Colored" has some negative connotations in English. Black people in America used to be called "Coloreds" and no matter how you spell it, it's a shameful thing to many people here.

Thanks, Maria. I know you do so much!

Sara, I know you mean well, but I truly don't think anyone would take the name "Coloured Sunday" to mean anything BUT a photo meme or take offense at the name.
