My sister and I are big with community service and I want to say that this is in part from watching our parents give even when they had none. It may also be from our moving so much as children that now that we have finally taken root in a community, we want to help however my husband this week just told me I have always been like this. He knows me for 20 years so I am happy to hear this because I was thinking it may be because I wanted my kids to learn about community.
Here are some shots from the day for Ruby Tuesday
And to sign off....the kids at the end of the day were smiling so I know dragging Handsome with us was the right move.
What a great teachable moment for the kids! Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving back to your community!
ReplyDeleteDITTY IN RED
Just a pinch of scarlet
To liven up the place;
Just a hint of ruby
Brushed upon your face;
Just a bit of cherry
Dancing round your toes;
Just some sanguine colors—
That’s the way it goes!
