I am sure you have seen it. Everyone on Pinterest is talking about a rug cleaner that uses
Baking Soda
Peroxide
and dish soap.
This terrible stain is in Goddess' bedroom. One day about 3 years ago she got a stomach virus after consuming her favorite chocolate hence this terrible stain! We hate it and used at least 10 different cleaners over the years and finally put a rug over it.
I shook up the peroxide, baking soda and dish soap in a spray bottle for a loooong time. The Baking Soda takes a long time to dissolve but when we did...and scrubbed the stain with a toothbrush...we were surprised.
I cannot believe how long we had to look at that ugly stain! It looks amazing now.

DeleteI hadn't heard about this for carpets, I use this combination for my kids school shirts. It's gets out stains on their uniform shirts.

I am trying to work on my carpets and rugs at the minute after going through a ton of frugal blogs and trying my hand at doing more for myself instead. I've been using carpet cleaners for a while - the last were carpet cleaner solihull - they're brilliant I won't lie! Now I'd like to try my hand at it myself, but with 3 kids, 2 cats and a house rabbit I need all the help I can get. Thanks a lot!

I had one particularly bad carpet that I just couldn't get clean - I ended up using carpet cleaning sutton coldfield because they don't use harsh chemicals and do a great job, but for a lot of carpets I can use your advice in this post so thank you :)
