The first book in the Marked Men series is a definite page turner. I was in love with it from page 1. Shaw is a good girl she makes it her weekly mission to drag Rule out of his bed with whatever slinky chick her brought home for the night and drag him back home for a dinner with his family. It is her mission because she cares about the family and her best friend who passed away was Rule's brother Remy. Remy, the good guy brought home one day like a lost puppy and she was! Her family didn't care about her and Remy took care of her. They were besties even though his whole family thought their golden boy and Shaw who they thought of as a daughter were dating. BUT, Shaw always loved Rule!
Rule and Shaw skirt around each other and while she puts up with him, he barely sees her until one day she opens his eyes.
LOVED IT!
Rule is a tattooed hottie and Shaw is the pretty girl who quietly lusts for him since she was a young girl. I loved the dialogue and the characters. Sinking my teeth into this series is something I am so looking forward to in the new year.
Why are good girls always attracted to bad boys? Excitement of course! This sounds like a book I will have to read someday :)
