Photo Challenge Feb 11 - Feb 17

February 11 - My kids love volunteering at the animal shelter especially when we get to hold kittens. This kitten was thankfully adopted after being at the shelter for only about 2 weeks. Isn't she sweet? This is truly my daughter's and my son's HAPPY PLACE.

February 12th - We were waiting for some Chinese food after placing an order. I took 25 photos of my kids outside but when I started playing with editing I was floored with how much older my kids look. My son and his peach fuzz is going to be 15 so it is inevitable that he looks older but man....

February 13th - I love my job because not only do I get to play mommy to (10) 2 year old kids during the day but I get adorable gifts like this one.

February 14th - My daughter and I stopped life to take some fun Snapchat photos. We do this every once in a while. It is fun and if you want to stay in your kids life, do what they do!

February 15 - These flowers were a gift from my husband. He joked in the morning about me picking up some flowers from him to give to me. Me: "CVS has some gorgeous flowers". He poked me in the ribs and laughed, "pick some up for yourself from me!" Sounds good to me. Gave me a chance to get flowers. I love them!

February 16th - The lighting was crap but I headed out Friday to meet an Author and ran into a friend there too.  This is "D.K. O'Doherty" the author of The Good Knight Kiss.  You can order the book here

February 17th - My daughter and I headed out to run some errands (Grocery shopping, shop for eye glasses and pick up guinea pig food). The Pet Store is right next door to a Starbucks. I still  have gift cards from Christmas so we got our favorite Green Tea Creme. It is amazing if you haven't had it.

The Perfect Toddler “Motorbike”

I am in love with superMOPI which is the perfect mini motorcycle for toddlers.

If you are looking for a toy that helps toddlers balance, build stronger muscles necessary for gross motor skills and is fun, look no further.  This is the perfect bike for the upcoming warm weather.

I work in preschool with 2-3.5 year olds and my class is loving our new "motorcycle".  No oil changes, gas, batteries or new tires needed. This bike runs on toddler energy.

There are so many reasons I love superMOPI but here are some of them.

Reasons To Love superMOPI

The bike is so lightweight. It weighs only 3 pounds and all my toddlers can lift it. It is also so light that I can hang it from my coat hook at work when I need to keep it out of reach. The kids want to ride it all the time and sometimes we need to do some school! It is also super easy for you to take with you anywhere.  AND..lets just say the bike was to fall on your little one. They cannot get hurt. There are no hard edges, peddles for them to cut their leg on our places for their fingers to get caught.

It is small enough even for the tiniest of toddlers to swing a leg over and straddle with no difficulty.  From my tiniest toddlers to my tallest 2-3.5 year olds they all can ride with ease.

The bike looks cool - my class wants to ride it all the time. We are keeping it indoors now and they love whizzing around our class tables. There is never a time that they don’t want to ride it. Currently we are doing it in a very controlled manner since we are in a classroom and indoors. I set a timer for 3 minutes and they each get a turn.  It is working out well.

It comes in 2 sizes and 2 colors depending on your likes and needs.

For more information or to purchase visit super MOPI or follow them on Facebook and You Tube

How Did You Handle Your Kids Growing Up? #ilovemykids #wherehasthetimegone #isthatafrigginmustache

Why are my kids looking older? My daughter put her hair up for the first time last night after her shower and I thought....who the heck is this? She will be 13 in two short months and I don’t think my heart can take it. She is one of the funniest people I know. Her wit is quick. She always gets the joke. I love her sassiness, her spirit, her creativity, her love of all things in nature, her I don’t give a damn what anyone says or thinks about me attitude her stellar climbing ability. Doesn’t everyone’s daughter climb the door ways in the house to hang out above my head like Spiderman? I laugh harder with her more than anyone in my life. She thinks I am funny, superwoman and tells me daily that her face hurts from laughing with me. We say the exact same thing at the same time at least once a day which scares me and cracks me up. She is a rock star and I want to be exactly like her when I grow up.

Who is this guy? This is my son! My Baby Boy! Where has the time gone? I cannot believe how far he has come. He speaks from the heart! He uses his manners always. He is super polite to everyone. He wants to be a good person! He is one of the best people I know

How do you stop the world or at least slow things down so I can keep them young for a little longer? I love all my moments with them and DO NOT WANT them to grow up and leave me. Well, I do but I don't you know!?

Happy Valentine's Day My Friends

I wish everyone the very best Valentine's Day on this horrible, icy morning. It is supposed to get nicer today (almost 50) but this morning there are multiple car accidents in my area already. Thank God for school delays and I hope everyone is OK!

BTW...these flower photos were taken at CVS yesterday. Not working with them but wanted you to know you can get some gorgeous flowers there.

February 8th - Home sick yet again. This time it is an eye infection. The tear duct will not drain. I should have taken a photo of that. It is gross. My husband was sweet enough to take me to doctor so now I am on meds. The photo is boring but the product is not. It is an electric toothbrush that I ordered from Amazon for my daughter. It is amazing. Took this photo for my review. Do  you review everything you get on Amazon? I try to. Great price and I love that it has a timer on it. She is brushing for 2 minutes now which is what her dentist told her to do. To Order

February 9th - My crazy daughter loves Snapchat.

February 10th - A new kitten at the shelter and my daughter. Look at that little wittle face.

How Sweet It Is! 50 Years Ago Everyone Watched The Jackie Gleason Show & Now You Can Watch It In Color

The 411:

Jackie Gleason from the Honeymooners had his own variety show 50 years ago and while I was only 1 when this show was on I know all about it!

What I love about these shows from the 60s is that the jokes are clean and funny, the men all wear suits, the sets were so colorful. What I find interesting is that everyone smokes and can we talk about those microphone wires that take up the stage ready to trip everyone holding one.

This DVD includes 4 episodes of  The Jackie Gleason Show as well as 3 remade Honeymooners Sketches (the Honeymooners was done in the 50s). Alice and Trixie are played by different actresses but Art Carney is there as Norton.

If you like comedy, entertainment and watching performances and skits by some of the biggest stars of the day like Frankie Avalon, Florence Henderson (Ms. Brady),  Nipsy Russell and Red Buttons who is featured in 3 of the 4 episodes.

My favorite part was seeing The Honeymooners in color!

Who Has A Stinky Teen?

Well, I don't have a stinky teen! He is a little obsessed with showering but I know after he comes home from school on a gym day, he so could use some extra help so I was really excited to try Prep U.

We received the Prep U Body Spray and Active Dry Powder. Both are great! My son loves the size. He carries them in his backpack and uses them on gym day but yesterday I caught him applying it in his room so I of course had him reenact the moment.  I love that he actually uses it AND that it doesn't smell strong. When I was working in the middle school I used to walk through a cloud of another "boy" product on the market. It was so strong. These kids don't get the whole less is more thing.
