The Handsome Dialogues - What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up - Part 1

We were sitting on the swing the other day when I asked the age old kid question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” I really didn’t know if he would understand what I was asking but tried anyway.

Handsome – I want to go to college

Me – What do you want to go to college for?

Handsome – I want to learn how to drive a blue bus and learn how to go to the library

Me – What else do you want your teacher to teach you?

Handsome – I want them to teach me how to have lunch and how to do the computer.

Part 2

Wondering if he would answer the same way I asked again 5 minutes later.

Me – What do you want to be when you grow up?

Handsome – I want to be Santa Claus

Me – You do? That’s cute baby.

Handsome – I want to wear his hat, pants and belt.

So I guess he want’s to be a stripper Santa. Not really sure what that means actually but I can’t wait to ask the question again.
