Is blogging worth it anymore? This question has been featured on a few sites lately. I don't know but I guess that depends on what you are blogging for.
I started this blog many years ago when my now almost 20 and 22 year old kids were babies. My mom died when I was 12 and I never knew her as a person. I really just wanted to write so they would know who I was. What I thought, how I felt about them. I had about 25K posts until I sat down October, November and December of 2024 and took off a lot of the filler posts. There is no way my kids would ever want to scroll through that many posts. I kept the ones that were more personal, most of my review posts as well as some that I have been paid to post.
Blogging for me is simply about putting down something my kids can read if they ever choose to in the future. Over the past 4 years I really got into Journaling so the blog took a back seat while I figured all that out and I love it!
Now I am just trying to figure out what I really want to talk about on here. Maybe I will just be really personal. Maybe I will just do a photo blog or maybe it will just be a combination as it has always been.
